My Politics

I've voted for the Libertarians the last 10 elections for President. I do not believe in the Republinuts or the Democraps, or, the big media that supports them.

Because of the above - my views, IMO, are the real independent; THE `Eagle' views, and not the `centrist' `independent' views of those that alternate between the Jackass and the Elephant.

Thanks for checking out my politics blog.

Trillion Dollar `Glitch' Widens Public MisTrust

So, yesterday the stock market went down over 990 points --- for a minute or two. Down 700 in 15 minutes, up 600 a quarter hour later. Immediately, the rumors began.

A trader had made a sell order for a `b'illion instead of a `m'illion -- someone at Citi Group had made the mistake --- some hedge fund was liquidating all assets - it was the difference between the NASDAQ and the DOW in times of panic - the machines had taken over by microsecond trades ---- were all trotted out as an explanation to the masses in the immediate minutes following the episode.

As if it mattered. As if anyone really trusts the big money boys playing with the world's very money system.

Meanwhile, the money-credit system seems to be teetering again in Europe; lead by Greece as part of the PIGS. (You better be hip enough to know who the PIGS are.) Others say the Euro is next if not the Pound AND eventually - the dollar. The money players are just starting their game once again of pushing commodities, currencies and bonds in their endless pricing games Making money on the way up and down. Most likely, this time, plucking the system to it's knees eventually once again.

That is, the peons of the system. The ones who actually built it and went in debt to do so. Those are the ones to be plucked - in the big game of chicken played with the world's finances. A bloated world system less secure by the minute - the same day that President Obama cheered the increase in the unemployment rate, underemployment rate and long term unemployment rate - as if it didn't matter at all. As long as he had `good rhetoric' to share about other inane measures of how well we are all doing in America.

The public mistrust `glitch' widened this week into a moat - and they just drew the drawbridge up to the people. Don't expect the MSM to be too concerned.
