OMG - to quote from this link "The world would not have ended had banks been forced to readjust their balance sheets: the outcome would have been far simpler - all those who had their collective net wealth associated with the balance sheets, and specifically the equity tranche, of firms like Goldman, JPM, Citi, BofA and Wells would have been wiped out. But why do that when not just they, but the entire government were willing to make it seems that a balance sheet reorganization is equivalent to liquidation" http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2010/3/6/843637/-Warren:-I-am-afraid-of-what-I-see-in-the-real-economy. Has there been a coup? RHP.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2010-03-04-federal-pay_N.htm?csp=usat.me Government workers make more than private industry workers in the same field -- bloated government example 3,457 - RHP. More that the MSM will say once and drop like a hot potato.

U.S. dollars? Why not Texas cow chips? http://www.bankrate.com/finance/personal-finance/u-s-dollars-why-not-texas-cow-chips.aspx Anyone else hate when the MSM makes fun of folks that want to have our money have actual value? Thought so. Worthless dollars - RHP
Anarcho-Tyranny at The Joe - From the article - "Last month, organizers of the popular Art Walk downtown, where glasses of wine are enjoyed both in the galleries and on the sidewalk, were reminded by police that it was illegal to drink and stroll. ... how un-American. Targeting law-abiding citizens for relatively harmless and petty indiscretions is particularly offensive when considering the real crime that occurs without penalty on any given day. The late columnist Sam Francis recognized this is as a growing trend he liked to call “anarcho-tyranny.” "As Francis explained, “What we have in this country today, then, is both anarchy (the failure of the state to enforce the laws) and, at the same time, tyranny — the enforcement of laws by the state for oppressive purposes; the criminalization of the law-abiding and innocent" Isn't it amazing that our pussy-whipped media is incapable of thinking in this manner? RHP. http://southernavenger.ccpblogs.com/2008/07/15/sa-column-anarcho-tyranny-at-the-joe/
The Swaps That Swallowed Your Town - http://www.cnbc.com/id/35749178 From the link - "As more details surface about how derivatives helped Greece and perhaps other countries mask their debt loads, let’s not forget that the wonders of these complex products aren’t on display only overseas. Across our very own country, municipalities, school districts, sewer systems and other tax-exempt debt issuers are ensnared in the derivatives mess." Derivatives - RHP that the MSM would rather ignore.

My Politics
I've voted for the Libertarians the last 10 elections for President. I do not believe in the Republinuts or the Democraps, or, the big media that supports them.
Because of the above - my views, IMO, are the real independent; THE `Eagle' views, and not the `centrist' `independent' views of those that alternate between the Jackass and the Elephant.
Thanks for checking out my politics blog.
