About the only major OWS movement to make it thru the winter has been Oakland - for example:
=====================================================
It's quite obvious that the MSM decided to IGNORE the `demands' of the OWS movement the moment it was clear they wanted the end to big banks. ------- Here's more on Oakland:
Police use tear gas on Occupy Oakland protesters - oh, and FLASH grenades - and yes, it got almost NO MSM coverage other than local - The Worthless Media can be found in the link.

My Politics
I've voted for the Libertarians the last 10 elections for President. I do not believe in the Republinuts or the Democraps, or, the big media that supports them.
Because of the above - my views, IMO, are the real independent; THE `Eagle' views, and not the `centrist' `independent' views of those that alternate between the Jackass and the Elephant.
Thanks for checking out my politics blog.

2006 IRS Estimate - 17% Of Taxes Not Paid - Over 400 Billion
Thanks for visiting RHP today. Yeah, RHP knows that plenty of real heavy politics has been going on - I've ranted mostly at Barf Stew about the hopelessness of our MSM covering a rigged event called the primaries. I may bring some of that to RHP in the new year; also, OWS was certainly worth a few posts in the fall one would have thought, right? But, alas, it was apparent early on that the MSM was about to `uncover' the movement before it even got going. That said, you may see more of that here too.
But, today, the focus will be on the beyond worthless system the government has set up to collect the revenue it spends while borrowing/printing the rest. Here's a tease of the CNBC post:
By either measure, the total of unpaid taxes in 2006 was larger than that fiscal year's budget deficit of $248 billion. Federal fiscal years begin in October of the previous year.
And, we're not even talking about the UNDERGROUND economy!
====================================
Speaking of politics - here's a thought - if only 25% or so of folks consider themselves a Republican (Republinut) and only 25% of those folks support the MSM candidate Mitt Romney - doesn't that mean that only about 6% of all folks even remotely feel he is the `least objectionable'? What a system.
